Be sure to bring along a repair tool, as it is almost guaranteed that players will need to repair their prawn suit mid-fight. Once that’s done, enter the suit and find a reaper leviathan to fight. Add a few hull enforcement upgrades and affix a drill arm and a grapple arm to the prawn suit. ![]() Once the prawn suit is built, bring it to a base with a vehicle bay so it can be upgraded. Odds are good that the player may come across the drill arm and grappling arm upgrades, both of which are must-haves if players want to fight the reaper leviathan using this method. Try looking inside of wrecks located in the Dunes, Blood Kelp Trench, and Grand Reef area. Blueprints for arm attachments like the drill arm can only be found in wrecks scattered throughout the map. They tend to patrol areas around the Aurora, so be prepared to engage in some evasive maneuvers before boarding. The prawn suit blueprints can be found in Aurora’s vehicle bay, and it is while attempting to acquire said blueprints that players will likely encounter their first reaper leviathan. The materials required should be self-explanatory, but just know that both methods will require the player to obtain some blueprints before being put into action. Keep in mind that the reaper will likely attack said vehicle, so it is highly advised that players upgrade their vehicle to have defensive modules in place.įor the actual fight itself, there are two main methods. You’ll only find 1 Sea Empress in the base that also doubles as a prison for the creature.Due to the player being at an obvious disadvantage, players need to do a decent amount of prep work before they actually try to start the fight. To find this giant, head to the Alien Base inside Lava Lake. That’s right, this monster can read your deepest darkest secrets. Sea Empress Leviathan – This creature sticks out the most from the rest of Leviathan because its telepathic.You can only find this monster in 2 spots: Inactive Lava Zone and Lava Lake. A lot of other Leviathans have a large number of spawns, the Sea Dragon only has 3, this could be because of its size. Sea Dragon Leviathan – Probably the biggest of the more aggressive Leviathans you’ll encounter.Ghost Leviathan – Somewhat bigger than the Reaper Leviathan but even more deadly, so approach with caution! They are best found in Grand Reef, Northern Blood Kelp Zone, and Crater Edge.By looking in these areas you also find Lithium, which is very important. However, it seems the best spots to search are Blood Kelp Zone and Mushroom Forest. This Leviathan is easier to find since you can find it in almost every region. Reefback Leviathan – The Reefback is considered passive, so it may not attack but still stay on high alert. ![]() ![]() To be safe around one, try staying close to the surface. Be careful, this creature is rather aggressive and swims close to the ocean floor. This monster can also be found in the Bulb Zone, which is important to harvest Bulb Bushes.
